Our redesign of Outdoor Research's Seattle flagship store at their headquarters had dual objectives: craft an exceptional retail space while developing a scalable wholesale fixture system for nationwide partners.
A strategic renovation of the existing store, transforming the 2,900 sq.ft. retail space to better showcase Outdoor Research's technical expertise and product innovations.
The existing retail environment had a more traditional, functional layout that lacked a cohesive, brand-forward aesthetic.
Our design process kicked off the way most of our projects do - with rough sketches that quickly evolved into detailed 3D renderings. We mapped out everything from where the lights would hit product to how people would naturally move through the space.
Working with OR's team, we tweaked and refined until every detail felt right. We made sure the Glove Lab would actually function for staff restocking product, tested different layouts for the Community Center, and confirmed fixtures would work just as well in wholesale partner locations as they do in the flagship.
These 3D renderings became our roadmap - giving our manufacturing and installation teams exact specs while showing OR exactly how their new space would come to life.
Our material palette balances industrial and warm elements, with custom details adding depth throughout the space.

These ballet bars feature a refreshable branded graphic, metal hangar, and ash veneer frame on levelers for sleek, eye-catching displays.
These branded displays feature V-grooved wood bases, 16" faceouts with adjustable height uprights, optional graphic talkers, and locking casters for easily mobility and repositioning.
